Independent and focused since 2026
As Funkwerk Mobility Solutions GmbH, we have been an independent subsidiary of the Funkwerk Group since June 2026. Emerging from the Passenger Information Systems division of Funkwerk Systems GmbH, we bundle our entire expertise in mobility and passenger information with over 150 employees at six locations in Germany (Karlsfeld, Wackersdorf, Neu-Ulm, Dresden, Kölleda, Berlin).
Legal independence gives us additional flexibility and visibility in the market – while remaining integrated into the strong network of the Funkwerk Group. With the acquisition of today’s Funkwerk Oltmann GmbH in Berlin in 2024 and the establishment of our production site in Wackersdorf in early 2026, we have consistently expanded our technical expertise and manufacturing capacities.
